Full Blown is an act name of Danish DJ/producer Asle Bjorn.
Asle is an international DJ of note, traveling all over the world playing records, and in general making people happy.
As a producer he's had an endless list of world-wide releases on A-list labels like Ministry Of Sound, Yoshitoshi, CR2, Jeepers, Positiva, Size, Universal, Tommy Boy, Eyezcream, Gut, Seamless, Whoop!, Pacha, Bigstar and Nebula. His productions have received massive support from the likes of Sasha, Pete Tong, Darren Emerson, Seb Fontaine, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Sander Kleinenberg, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Groove Armada, Paul van Dyk and many more.
As a remixer Asle has been a very busy boy over the years. In 2001 his remix of Funky Green Dogs 'Burning Up' reached no. 1 on the Billboard Dance Chart. He also did the original remix of Camille Jones's massive chart hit ‘The Creeps’.
Other acts that Asle has remixed include Nickelback, Safri Duo, Infernal, Ortz, Blue Foundation, Dyad10, Swan Lee, Candi Staton, Tom Novy, Moi Caprice and New Order.
His 2004 remix of the Danish pop/rock band Swan Lee earned him a Danish Dee Jay Award as Remix of the Year.
In 2005 Full Blown's 'Some Kinda Freak' was re-released from the year before, on Whoop! Records, and hit no.1 in the DMC Update Buzz Chart (the most important dance chart in the world). And in 2006 Asle Bjorn's massive track 'Golden Sun', signed to CR2 Records and remixed by Haji & Emanuel, also hit no.1 in the DMC Update Buzz Chart.
In Bulgaria and the surrounding countries Asle and his partner Anne have become regular pop-stars. With their monster club crossover hit ‘Lucky You’ they have appeared on TV shows all over Bulgaria. Check out movies on www.myspace.com/djasle.
2008 sees Asle continuing to record and remix as Full Blown, for labels such as Jeepers!, and also finally complete his debut album, which will showcase his diverse skills as a musician by presenting a new deeper, darker and down-tempo side of his productions. |
